Orphanage kids:
"We are ok we are sorry that we worry you."
Avery:
"It is ok just please watch out for the next time ok."
Orphanage kids:
"Ok Avery."
Logan:
"Come on kids let go and play while Mr Maslow finish with detention Avery ."
Orphanage kids:
"Ok Sir."
Logan:
"I am not Sir my name is Logan."
Avery:
"They are going to keep on calling you that so please just them do it the orphanage are not a good place for the kids and me so please just leave them they hate it over there so do I." After I said that to them I walk back to the bench waiting for Mr Maslow to come and finish this with me so we can all go back to that place that none of us like I hope that we can all get adopt before next week Friday.
Mr Maslow:
I know that there is something wrong with Avery I can see it in her face but will she tell me that is what I do not know. "Avery are you ok?"
Avery:
"What yeah I am fine so fine."
Mr Maslow:
"Avery by you saying that you are fine like that tells me that you are not fine what wrong."
Avery:
"Nothing so just leave it alone can you do that or can't you do that at all."
Mr Maslow:
"Avery stop that just stop that take a breather and then we will get back to it 3 minutes I will be back when 3 minutes are up."
Avery:
"Fine to it is not like I don't care." When he is gone I walk away and start to smoke so no one can see me and the kids do not breathe it in.
Kid boy:
"You know smoking is bad."
Avery:
"And you know that I do not care I am sorry kid why are you here shouldn't you be playing."
Kid boy:
"I should but you look sad why are you sad."
Avery:
"I can't tell you kid even when if I wanted to."
Kid boy:
"Do you want a hug?"
Avery:
"No thank you but you better go back before someone thinks that you are missing."
Kid boy:
"Ok bye lady."
Avery:
"Bye kid." After I was done smoking I have some gum and then went back to the bench where he is waiting for me.
Mr Maslow:
"Where have you been?"
Avery:
"Somewhere in the park don't worry."
Mr Maslow:
"Are you ok now?"
Avery:
"Yep." I am a bit better now but not so much I need to know how do it and I don't even know how to I just hope that I can try and figure it out before next week Friday.
Mr Maslow:
"Avery did you hear what I said."
Avery:
"Yeah you ask me are am I ready now and after you ask I didn't answer you."
Mr Maslow:
"So you were listening."
Avery:
"Something like that I was not paying attention but I can hear you even when I didn't want to."
Mr Maslow:
"Well now you need to paid attention ok."
Avery:
"Ok."
Mr Maslow:
"Do can you tell me what is this?"
Avery:
"Divid by?"
Mr Maslow:
"Yes do you know what is divide by?"
Avery:
"No I do not."
Mr Maslow:
"It is a group of something."
Avery:
"Hg."
Mr Maslow:
"So let say I have a drawing of 2 thinking face." I draw them.
π€
π€
Avery:
"Do you see them Avery?"
Mr Maslow:
"Yes."
Avery:
"And let say I draw another 2 thinking face."
π€
π€
Mr Maslow:
"That is one group but in 2 part so if I ask you what is 4 divide by 2 so I will draw 4 thinking face like this." I draw them.
π€π€
π€π€
Mr Maslow:
"Just like I did here and when it said divide by you one column that as 2 and then you have another column that is 2 right."
Avery:
"Yes."
Mr Maslow:
"So that is 2 so 4 divide 2 equals 2 because you have a group of 2."
Avery:
"I don't get it."
Mr Maslow:
"Ok let look at the worksheet again yeah let say I have 20 divide by 10 I draw 20 face with hearts on it."

π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°
Mr Maslow:
"So you see my drawing do you?"
Avery:
"Yes I do."
Mr Maslow:
"So court these one for me."
Avery:
"One two."
Mr Maslow:
"And that your answer you court how many is in the first row Avery that what I mean when I said that is 2 so 4 divide 2 equals 2 because you have a group of 2 I was talking about the number that is there in the first row when you counted two."
Avery:
"Umm ok."
Mr Maslow:
"How about we do one together Avery."
Avery:
"I don't have a choice to say yes or no do I do I am going to say yes."
Mr Maslow:
"I can how you another way."
πΆπΆπΆπΆπΆ
Mr Maslow:
"How many is that Avery?"
Avery:
"5."
Mr Maslow:
"Good girl now if I put 25 divide by 5 so you said there is 5 right."
Avery:
"I did yes."
πΆπΆπΆπΆπΆ
πΆπΆπΆπΆπΆ
πΆπΆπΆπΆπΆ
Mr Maslow:
"Ok so this is 14 how many is this."
πΆ
πΆ
πΆ
Avery:
"3 so that is my answer?"
Mr Maslow:
"It is Avery I know you do not get this now but don't worry you will how about I get you and the kids get back to the orphanage but I have an idea KIDS STAND IN A ROW OF 4." They did what I ask them to do. "Kids go back to playing court how many in this line."
Avery:
"5."
Mr Maslow:
"So that would be 20 divide by 4 is 5 and why is it 5 because the fist kids that stand is 5 do you get it."
Avery:
"Kind of."
